Lucia Grillo is an award-winning filmmaker, with her company Calabrisella Films producing award-winning narrative short films and feature-length documentaries and music videos that have been official selections of some of the world's most prestigious film festivals including Cannes Film Festival SFC, and aired on national, international & cable television.

Her works are taught at the university level and she has been named an Ambassador of Calabria, Italy, by the Presidents of the Calabria and Lazio Regions, for the Diffusion of Culture through Cinema.

Lucia received her BFA in Acting from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, having begun training at age fifteen at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute NYC, where she studied for seven years.
